Botulinum toxin type-A (botox) is a toxin that’s produced by the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum, it is a safe treatment specifically designed for use in aesthetic indications.
During the aging process the skin loses elasticity and volume and we start to appear tired and less youthful. Most clients use anti-wrinkle injections (botoxs) as a anti aging treatment however can also be used to treat excessive sweating.
Anti-wrinkle injections work by blocking nerve impulses that stimulates muscle movement, and so relaxing the injected muscles. This leads to smoother looking skin and less pronounced wrinkles, giving a more youthful look. Anti-wrinkle injection (botoxs) are commonly used on well to soften the appearance of the upper face including forehead lines, frown lines and lines around the eyes known as crows feet.
Botulinum toxin type-A (botox) is a Prescription Only Medicine (POM) and should only be administered by a trained medical professional. The suitability for all individuals is subject to consultation with a prescribing medical professional and is a requirement prior to treatment with Maisie.

Results are seen up to 14 days after the treatment and can be expected to last around three months.
